How to get to València
By Plane
València Airport (VLC)
València Airport is well connected to the city center:
- Metro (metrovalencia):
Lines 3 and 5 depart from the Aeroport station (inside the terminal).
Note: The airport belongs to a different fare zone, so a standard ticket is not valid. Select “Aeropuerto” or Zone AB+ at the ticket machine.
Approx. price: €4.80. - MetroBus Line 150 (Aeroport – València):
Bus service linking the airport with downtown València, stopping at several points along the route. - Taxi:
Available at the official taxi rank outside the terminal.
Madrid–Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (MAD)
Terminal 4 is connected to Atocha and Chamartín train stations via the Cercanías C1 line.
From either station, high-speed trains (AVE, Avlo, Ouigo, Iryo) provide frequent service to València Joaquín Sorolla Station.
Approximate travel time: 2 hours.
Other Airports with Connections to València
- Barcelona–El Prat (BCN):
The Rodalies R2 Nord commuter line (from Terminal 2) links the airport to Barcelona Sants station.
From there, long-distance Renfe trains connect to València Nord Station.
Approximate travel time: 3.5 hours. - Alicante Airport (ALC):
Connected to Alicante city center via bus line C6. - Castellón Airport (CDT):
Provides shuttle-bus service to València.
By Train

To receive your discount, request your personal authorization code by contacting the conference administration at: administration@iwa-ad19.com
Once you obtain your code, follow these steps:
1. Visit the Renfe website and select your preferred train.
2.After choosing your route and travel options, go to the Fares section and select
“Congress/Events”.
3. Enter the authorization code provided by the IWA AD19 administration to apply
the discount.
